This Bank Statement Import Utility for Sage Pastel Accounting and Sage Evolution is the answer to all your bank recon problems!
Why use the Bank Statement Import Utility?
- Dramatically reduce time taken to reconcile bank statement.
- Reduce or even eliminate user error.
- Eliminate monotonous capturing of recurring transactions through Auto Allocation.
The Neurasoft Cashbook Utility imports a Bank Statement downloaded from the Internet then exports the transactions to Sage Pastel Accounting or Sage Evolution. Before the import is done, you are given the opportunity to either manually or automatically, through Auto Allocation, assign the General Ledger, Customer or Supplier account codes for each transaction.
Auto Allocation Rules allow for the following:
- Assign transaction account (Customer, Supplier or General Ledger)
- Modify description: Change to something else, remove a portion, replace a portion, and more
- Assign Tax Type
The Bank Statement Import Utility is able to import statements for Absa, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, Mercantile, Capitec and Investec. The program also imports files downloaded from the Netcash Debit Order processing service. If you have a need for a different bank’s statement (or any other type of transaction file) to be imported, we will be happy to make the required changes to the program to accommodate your bank, e.g. if you live in Australia or any other country and make use of Sage Pastel Accounting or Sage Pastel Evolution.
Custom imports
The application provides a csv file import that allows you to easily create a transaction import using Microsoft Excel. See the Documentation for details on how to do this.
